Banks is preparing for life in a wheelchair after suffering spinal injuries in a fall at Toowoomba on New Year’s Eve.

Banks is expected to remain in hospital for three months.
Jockey silks and breeches signed by all runners in the 2012 Magic Millions two-year-old Classic were purchased by Coolmore’s Tom Magnier for $26,000.
The whips from jockeys Tommy Berry and Paul Hammersley, winners of the Magic Millions Classic and Guineas fetched $3,200.
Toowoomba sprinter Spirit Of Boom, who Banks rode two years ago in the Classic, won Saturday’s Magic Millions Cup.
